This week I’m wearing Zoya’s Flora, one of 3 colors I got from Zoya this year.

It’s the perfect medium pink: not too bright, not too dark, not neon, just the prettiest Barbie pink.

Application was great like all Zoya nail polishes. It took me 2 coats to achieve full opacity. It’s a lovely color for spring and summer and I can’t wait to wear it more!

I guess nail polish has become the gift to get me :P My friend Mychi from school got me 2 bottles of Essie nail polish as a belated birthday present! Tried out the first one last week – Bahama Mama.

It’s a deep eggplant/plum color and so gorgeous for fall and winter! A bit on the sheer side though – it took 3 coats to achieve the opacity seen here.

What a beautiful color! Thanks Mychi!

This was from a couple of weeks ago, but I absolutely love this color! I got it as a part of my Secret Santa gift from Kathleen over Christmas. I love the name of this polis too – I Shop Mintage from Nicole by O.P.I.

It’s a bit sheer and takes 3 coats to get complete coverage.

It’s the perfect color for spring but I couldn’t wait to try it out. Will definitely be wearing it more often when the weather gets warmer. It was pretty long lasting too, so an all-around winner!

Let’s start the new year with a Mani Monday! This week I’m wearing the color Mermaid for Each Other from JustFab’s nail polish line, PaintFab. It’s one of 2 colors I got using my reward points, since I’ve gathered quite a few of them from all the boots I bought over the years from JustFab.

The color is a very pretty true teal color with a pearl finish. The consistency is on the thinner side but 2 coats achieved a completely opaque finish. So far it’s been wearing pretty well too, so I think this one is a winner!

I did a mini Sephora haul for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and got 2 bottles of Formula X nail polish! I tried out this pretty raspberry color named A+ first.

It’s a bit redder than a true magenta and a really pretty color that I think can work for any season.

I also liked the consistency of the polish, not too thick and not too thin. It applied evenly and 2 coats gave a perfectly opaque finish. This one was a true A+ in my book!

D2 has taken over my life and I apologize for not posting for the last month and a half… And there’s so much I need to catch up on. But that will have to wait for another day. So for now, just a quick post of my newest mani! I did this for my 25th birthday so I wanted something fun and sparkly.

For this look, I did 2 coats of e.l.f.’s Golden Goddess, which is a clear polish with gold sparkles that I usually use on top of other colors. Then I painted the tips of my nails with the gold glitter color in my Art Club striper kit. This created a kind of gold gradient that reminds me of fireworks or champagne. Very festive!

Happy Labor Day everyone! I did this fun mani for the long weekend, which Yufei and I are spending in sunny LA.

I used 2 coats of e.l.f.’s Blush, a lovely rose gold color, then used strips of masking tape to make the pattern, then used 2 coats of Zoya’s Elodie on top.

It’s super simple to do, you can make all kinds of patterns, and it works with lots of different color combinations! Hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend!
