Laundry On Sundaes

Every beginning is only a sequel, after all, and the book of events is always open halfway through.

Okay, so Hoot rejected my button ring DIY project… but that’s okay, I can just post it here instead! I think they’re super cute, so check out how you can make your own if you agree!

Project: Button ring
Difficulty level: easy

Step 1: Gather your supplies. For this project, you need:
– some buttons of various shapes, colors, and sizes. Ask your mom or grandma – they’re sure to have a stash of them hidden away somewhere. If not, try looking in thrift shops or online.
– small rubber bands that will be the band of your ring, or you can use a plain ring that you already have and would like to jazz up a bit.
– super glue or hot glue gun.

Step 2: Pick 2 buttons of different sizes and colors that looks nice on top of each other. This is the fun part – play around with different combinations. I wanted a make a simple chic ring so I went for black and white. Glue the 2 buttons together.

Step 3: Take your rubber band or existing ring and glue the buttons to it. Make sure it’s centered.

Step 4: Leave the ring to dry for a bit to make sure everything is glued together nicely. And that’s it! You now have a one-of-a-kind button ring that you can accessorize your favorite outfit with.

You can also make the ring with just one button – be creative!
